A trip to the arboretum is a perennial favorite for our family, and we’ve made numerous visits over time. It’s an ideal destination on a scorching day, offering both shade and the option to cool down in an indoor nature center. What’s fantastic is that each of my three kids finds something enjoyable here, whether it’s playing with the water pump and navigating the rope web or exploring the fascinating array of creatures indoors. Additionally, parking is convenient and reasonably priced at $5 for an entire day, payable via machine or app, and it’s even free on Thursdays!
