Most people who have read my previous travel guides will already know that one of my favorite forms of activity, at any time of the year, is a waterpark. There is something about the slides, the wave pools, and the lazy rivers that take me right back to my childhood and make all my worries disappear.
So, when I learned that some hotels in Houston have their water park, I jumped at the chance to review them personally and see what they’re all about.
8 Best Hotels in Houston With a Water Park
I have been acting as a water park investigator on your behalf (which I have to say was great fun). It is that by the time you come to book your waterpark hotel in Houston, you will be armed with all the information you need to make your stay perfect.
Aside from looking at how fabulous the waterpark side of things is, I have also noted some other aspects of each hotel, such as the services offered and dining options.
I have also considered their location and tried to give you the hotels in Houston that are ideally situated to take advantage of the rest of the city.
A few of these hotels might be a few hours away from the city center of Houston. Still, they’re easily accessible from nearby airports and are worth the travel time to have a waterpark on the grounds.
Lastly, I have given you an idea of pricing. By this, I mean I have looked at the average price per Night. However, remember that this can vary quite dramatically depending on the time of year you visit and the type of room you require.
So, without further ado, let’s splash land right into the best hotels with a waterpark in Houston.

Yes, the price tag might come in a little high. Still, when you experience the magnificent service and splendid surroundings, you’ll soon be able to justify the hefty cost. I mention the surroundings because, unlike other hotels I’ve reviewed in Houston, this one is situated within the oak-dotted country hills. It means you have some breathtaking views of the landscape. However, though you might feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere, you’re not too far away from San Antonio’s most popular destinations, such as La Cantera and SeaWorld.

I think everyone is aware of the kind of quality that the Hyatt group offers. After all, they are renowned for their hospitality and high quality, and the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort & Spa is no different.
The resort is set upon 300 beautiful acres of historic ranch land owned by the Rogers-Wiseman family. It offers its guests a combination of luxury, elegance, and unique design.
While the hotel feels classy and stylish, it hasn’t let go of its authentic Texan ranch origins, which brings the perfect blend of characteristics to the resort.
One of the most convenient aspects of this unique resort is that it lies just 20 minutes from San Antonio airport. There is no need to worry about a long journey after a drawn-out flight. Outside of the resort, there are tons to do as well. I recommend heading to Market Street and enjoying a shopping spree and lunch at the Woodlands Waterway.
