If you want to drink, dance, and celebrate your way through the spookiest night of the year, there is no bigger bash than the annual Houston Official Halloween Bar Crawl. You can register your interest in the event and book tickets via the website link above.

This event will take place on Monday the 31st of October – so be sure to book the Tuesday off work unless they are happy to employ zombies! Additional Halloween-themed crawls are heading out from the same bar on the 22nd and 29th of October.

During the night, you will have free access to six select bars, all frighteningly enticing drinks specials, DJs, and gruesome grub options.

For a fancy evening, head over to Belvedere Uptown Park for their annual Masquerade Black Party. The ball will be held on Saturday, the 29th of October, into the early hours of Sunday; it is sure to be the perfect place to kick off the Halloween festivities.

Halloween Goes Hollywood is one of Houston’s most significant Halloween events – this will be its eighth year! The event takes place at Club Cairo, which is on the first floor of the building.

I love the Spirits and Skeletons party at the Houston Museum of Natural Science; it is truly an event like no other – well, where else can you dance around real skeletons? The event is held on Saturday the 29th of October and runs from 8 pm until 1 pm.

This incredible event runs throughout the museum, with party areas around the magnificently haunting dinosaur bones and spellbinding gems. Three DJs are situated around the building, along with a plethora of food trucks parked around the museum entrance and live music from The Space Rockers.

Bars will be set up in the museum hallways – your ticket will entitle you to one free drink on arrival. Costumes are encouraged for fun; no prizes have been announced for best dressed just yet.

The Haunted Halloween Horror Market hosted Houston Horror Film Fest is set up in the outdoor space available at the Wildcatter Saloon in Katy, just a short drive from Houston. This is a fantastic alternative event if a full-on Halloween party is just a little too far out of your comfort zone.

There is so much going on here, and it is suitable for the whole family, making it a perfect festive day out for those with little ones.

The event is held between 12 pm and 7 pm on Saturday, the 29th of October. This is an outdoor event, so even though costumes are encouraged, appropriate outdoor clothing should be worn – there is a costume contest.

The area will be filled with market stalls, food vendors, artists, and filmmakers during the afternoon. There will also be live music and a surprise celebrity guest whose identity has not yet been revealed.
