This is a great place to start if you’re looking to blow off steam at a local skate rink. There are lots to do and see here, and the cool surrounding and funky lights add to the atmosphere.

When I visited this roller skating rink, a live DJ played in a booth, giving off a brilliant vibe and making the skating experience even more upbeat.

They also like to include some gaming into their skating, like a red light green light, which reminded me slightly of squid games.

You can hire the skating rink out for private events such as birthday parties and bachelorette parties. Prices for this start at around $160.00. This is a pretty good deal as you get a lot for your money.

For eight children, you will get 2 hours of party time, invitations, one drink each, two pitchers of soda, pizza, and hot dogs, table decorations, a cup of ice cream, and a skating pass for the birthday child. Plenty of packages are available, so give them a call to get a tailored deal.

General admission for the skating rinks varies. Weekends are between $10.00 and $12.00. On Tuesdays between 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm, it’s just $4.00; Thursdays are $6.00 between 6:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

Also, if you work up a bit of appetite during your skating, you can grab a slice of pizza, a hot dog, and a Slurpee to quench your thirst.

This place is an excellent option if you’re looking for a skating rink that suits younger children. I took my teenage daughter with me on my visit, and we had an absolute blast, but we found there were younger ones than teens and adults.

However, don’t let this put you off because, as I say, we still had an awesome time and didn’t feel out of place in the slightest. Plus, when we went, it was a Sunday lunchtime, whereas if you visit on a Friday or Saturday, you’ll find more of a mixed-age group.

They offer skating classes, which are supportive and informative for anyone who doesn’t have the greatest skating knowledge. These are $10.00 per class or $60.00 for a Learn to Skate pass. Once the courses are completed, you receive a bronze, silver, and gold reward as your skills develop.

It’s an excellent spot for a kids’ birthday party, and they have some deals on packages, though it looked more expensive than some other venues I checked out.

For $400, you will receive 2 hours of skating and skate rental, access to the snack bar if required, a live DJ, party games, and discounted drinks and pizza. I do think for the higher price, they should throw the food in, to be honest, but there is an option to take your own food if you wish.

You can get your skate rental, a soft drink, ice cream, and pizza. They also offer a couple of daycare packages, where teachers can take in children for around $5.00 to $7.00. You must book this at least 24 hours in advance, and children must be supervised at all times.

There is a snack bar here too, which has plenty of choice for kids and adults, with items such as pizza, nachos, corn dogs, fries, chicken wings, and hot dogs. All the food is reasonably priced between $3.00 and $9.00.

Saturday 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm/6:00 pm - 9:00 pm,
Sunday: 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

This is a great skating rink for people of all ages, especially if you’re skating with a large group or throwing a party because of its vast capacity.

The general admission here is $10.00, but it depends on when you go. Also, I recommend checking their schedule online before your visit, as they tend to change it monthly, and specific hours are designated to certain age groups and capabilities.

For instance, Thursday nights are set aside for adults only, and they close for an hour on Saturday during dinner.

They offer a fair few classes, such as beginners classes on a Saturday lunchtime. These cost around $20.00, which includes learning how to balance, skating posture, backward maneuvers, top stop, marching, and other skating skills.

They have a couple of party packages available, such as a pizza party which is $240.00 for ten people, and an extra $24.00 per additional guest.

This package includes reserved seating, a host, rental hire, two slices of pizza per guest, a soft drink, table decor, and the option to bring your own cake. Other packages available are the Glow Package and the Ice Cream Package.

They have a strict dress code here to ensure the place remains family-friendly, though I think it depends on who is at the door and how much they stick to this after reading some of the reviews online. However, when I attended with my daughter, everyone dressed appropriately.

Suppose you’re looking for more than just a great roller skating experience and want to expand your day into exciting arcade games and a trampoline park. Then you need to get yourselves to this entertainment center.

They have a great-sized roller skating rink here, which is large enough to hold a birthday party should you want to hire it for a private event.

Although the price seemed expensive when I first looked into this, I realized that’s not the case because the price isn’t just for roller skating.

For $35.00, you have access to the whole entertainment center and all its attractions for an unlimited amount of time. These activities include go-karting, mini bowling, a cool obstacle course, and access to the arcade and jump park.

So, if you’re looking for something fun with the kids indoors on a rainy day, you can lose an entire afternoon here, making the most of all the great things to do.

Sunday 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm

This 20,000-square-foot skating rink is one of my favorites when it comes to skating rinks in Houston, especially when it comes to somewhere to take the kids. This is a highly family-oriented venue, an enjoyable evening out for people of all ages.

They have a great range of music being played while you skate that children and adults can enjoy, and have a boogie too. They even have a separate skate floor for young children who aren’t confident enough to be amongst other more experienced skaters.

You can hire out the venue for private parties, and packages start from just $150, one of the lowest prices of all the roller skating rinks I looked into.

Most of the packages start at a price for just ten children, but you can add other kids for another $15.00. For this price, every guest gets nachos or chili dogs, a drink, and a skate rental. They will also decorate all the tables for you.

The food available at the rink comprises the usual suspects, such as pizza, hot dogs, wings, and Frito pies. If you want a more intimate party, you rent out the whole facility for $1500 for three hours. This will include a live DJ and the option to purchase food from their concessionary stores or to bring your food.

The skating rink is probably my guide’s newest and most modern one. It only opened in 2020 but quickly became one of Houston’s most popular spots for roller skating.

The thing I love the most about this joint is the fact that they’re constantly trying to come up with innovative ways to enjoy the roller skating experience.

This place is a bundle of fun, whether you’ve skated before and want to learn a new skill or whether you’ve already got some experience and wish somewhere to blow off steam and have a good time.

The skating rink is massive at 30,000 square feet and is also full of mod-cons, such as temperature-controlled and light shows.

There is a snack bar at the venue where you can get sweet and savory light bites and drinks.

There are also some other attractions here, which we didn’t partake in during our visit but did pop over for a quick nosey. I saw that they had air hockey and basketball.

If you want to book a private party here for you or your kids, there are quite a few packages available, and if you give them a call, they can hook you up with a deal that suits you best.

For example, I looked into one of the packages on offer, which was $320 for ten guests, including two adults.) For this price, everyone gets drinks and a hot dog, some ice cream, a reserved table, table decor, and a skate rental.

It’s worth giving this place a call before you visit or check out their website because they hold special events during specific hours.

Conclusion
