Don’t get me wrong, I love being out of the hotel, seeing the sights, and exploring when I am on vacation. Still, from time to time, I love nothing more than returning to my accommodation, relaxing, and reflecting on the day. I find the best place to do that is on a balcony overlooking the landscape. This is why I have looked for the best hotels with a balcony during many trips to Houston.
10 Best Hotels in Houston With Balcony
After much research, I found tons of hotels with a balcony in Houston, so I decided to put together this informative guide so that anyone in search of a balcony at their hotel can find all the best ones in one handy guide.
I have looked at what kind of views you can have from your balcony, such as whether they look over an outdoor pool or give you exceptional views of the Houston skyline.
I have also considered other aspects of each hotel, such as what kind of dining options they offer and whether breakfast is included in the room’s price.
I have also looked at their location and how close they are in proximity to some of Houston’s best attractions so that you can make the most out of your vacation without having to travel too far.
If you’re traveling for business, many hotels with balconies in this guide offer great workspaces inside and outside the room.
Lastly, I have looked at the average cost, which is the price you can expect to pay per night. However, it’s worth noting that these prices can vary depending on your time of visit and room of choice.
So, let’s look at the best hotels with balconies in Houston.

The balconies offer amazing views of Houston. However, one downside to this hotel is that it seems to be a popular spot with wedding groups, bachelorette parties, and other large gatherings. It means that sometimes hanging out on the balcony may not be the peaceful retreat you want. However, as long as you don’t mind other people’s merriments happening around you, this shouldn’t be a problem.

The hotel has an on-site swimming pool, gift shop, and BBQ facilities, as well as a full buffet breakfast which starts at the crack of dawn if you need to dash off for an early meeting.
From personal experience, I found this hotel to be highly attentive in their service, and the housekeeping and maintenance were all kept on top of it. However, from reading other people’s reviews, I have noticed a few complaints about the consistency in this department. The only thing I noticed is that the decor could be done with a touch-up here and there for a Hilton hotel.
This hotel is pet-friendly, but if it’s not for you, why not check out some more pet-friendly hotels in Houston?
8. Quality Inn and Suites NRG Park – Medical Center

Website | www.choicehotels.com |

If you’re looking to spend as little as possible on your room per night so that you have money left over to explore other exciting activities around Houston, then you should be interested in the Quality Inn and Suites NRG Park.
Situated within the Medical Center and close to the NRG Stadium, it is a convenient location, especially if you want to catch a rodeo during your stay, which I highly recommend. If you decide to check out the rodeo, you must try some crazy rodeo foods while you’re there.
Coming back to the hotel, you might wonder what kind of amenities and service you can expect for $60; well, you’d be surprised. Each room has a small yet fully-functional kitchenette, refrigerator, microwave, other facilities, and a balcony. However, the balcony lacks any furniture, which is a shame. Nonetheless, the excellent views make up for the lack of furnishings.
Although the reviews don’t seem the most appealing for this hotel, as long as you’re not expecting a five-star stay and you’re happy with the basic necessities and convenient location, this hotel should be ideally suited for you. The staff is also highly attentive and on hand at all hours to help you should you require anything.
Another thing I can recommend at the hotel is their complimentary breakfast, which has plenty of choices and is all freshly made.

10. Sara’s Inn on the Boulevard
Address | 941 Heights Boulevard, Houston, TX 77008 |
Tel | 713-808-1980 |
Website | www.saras.com |
Price Per night | $140.00 |
Saras Inn on the Boulevard in Houston is probably one of my favorite places to stay in the city in terms of the decor and atmosphere. I was first attracted to its intriguing exterior, which stands out from anything else in the area with its painted blue and pink front.
The exciting decor continues when you step inside, and I couldn’t contain my excitement when I laid eyes upon the pink boutique-style rooms and lounge areas. However, don’t worry; it’s not all so feminine; other rooms and areas of the hotel are pleasantly decorated in neutral colors yet still in keeping with the delightful theme of the hotel.
If you’re looking for a memorable stay like nothing else you’ve stayed in before, then Sara’s is the place to go. This independent hotel has just thirteen rooms, primarily en-suite bar ones. They are all themed to either Victorian or the Wild West, with the odd room catering to people who prefer something a little more modern and classic.
This stunning Victorian-style hotel also offers on-site parking, romantic packages, full kitchens in the suites, a breathtaking porch area, and all within walking distance of Downtown Houston.
