Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is a chain restaurant with several branches in and around the Houston area, including Katy, Sugarland, and The Woodlands. They specialize in steak but have a wide range of other food available too.
2. Meat
There are plenty of options here for meat-eaters. Their steak is well worth a try, and we’d recommend their Filet Perry dish (filet steak wrapped with applewood-smoked bacon, topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and their Signature Steak Butter, with steamed asparagus as a side).

You can get some great seafood here. The Crispy Skin Wild Red Snapper (with chive whipped potato sand truffle vinaigrette) is excellent, or you can go for the fried shrimp, which is a delicious treat.
We’d also recommend the Pan Seared Sea Bass, with creamy corn and red pepper coulis (gluten-free).
You could also check out the Cold Seafood Cocktail bar. Paying by the piece or portion, you can grab shrimp, oysters, tuna tartare, crabmeat, lobster tails, and caviar. You can even build your seafood tower for your table.
4. Starters
There are some excellent starters from Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille, including some good seafood options. The crab cakes are great, as well as the cherry pepper calamari. We’d also recommend the truffle spinach and artichoke dip, which is delicious.
5. Sides
It’s a good idea to pick up a couple of sides while you’re here. Try Roasted Sherried Mushrooms, the Truffle Steak Fries, or the Au Gratin Potatoes. The Whipped Potatoes are excellent too, and if you want something more filling, you can go for the Lobster Mac & Cheese.
6. Soups and Salads
This might be unsurprising because Perry’s is a steakhouse, but there aren’t many options available for vegetarians. There are a few soups and salads, including the Seasonal Soup, which makes the most of seasonal ingredients. You could also go for the Field Green, Pear & Candied Pecan Salad, which is also gluten-free.
7. Desserts
Save some room for dessert if you can, as there are some excellent choices here. We like the Lemon Bar, a vegetarian bar made from lemon curd and orange shortbread, coated in a torched vanilla bean meringue. The Flourless Fudgy Chocolate Cake is gluten-free and very delicious.
8. Lunch Menu
Lunch is served from 10.30 AM – 4 PM, with a slightly smaller menu to choose from. The Perry’s Pork Chop Friday Lunch Special is a good call; you could also go for something like the Steakhouse Pasta, Butcher’s Blend Burger, Chargrilled Salmon, or Steakhouse Brick Chicken.
You can pick up some salads and soups at lunchtime, too.
9. Drinks
Perry’s has an extensive selection of wines, from $16 bottles of rose all the way through to $250 bottles of Cabernet. In addition, they have temperature-controlled wine lockers and helpful staff, who will be able to suggest wines to pair with your meals.
If you want to try something unique, you can go for their own wines, including Perry’s Reserve Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, and their Big Red Blend.

10. Amenities
Perry’s is a classy, upscale sort of place. It’s ideal for special occasions, but not so good if you want to swing by in your casual clothes. It’s a calm, moderately noisy restaurant, and we’d recommend it for dates or celebrations with friends and family members.
They have a full bar (with happy hour specials available), free wi-fi, parking, and a TV. Plus, if you’d rather eat at home, you can get takeout or delivery instead.

The waiters are polite, friendly, and helpful. They’ll make you feel special without being too intrusive, and they’re very attentive if you need anything.
It can get busy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. So we’d recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment.
