10 Best Hotels With Spas in Houston, TX

Sometimes all we need is to unwind and take a step back from the daily slog of life with some pampering and relaxation. In my opinion, there’s no better way to do that than a day at the spa, whether for a girly afternoon with friends or a romantic weekend with your other half.

I’ve visited many stand-alone spas in Houston. Still, whenever I am in Houston for a more extended visit, I do like to try and find a hotel with its own spa that I can use at my own leisure.

This led me to put together this guide to the best hotels in Houston with spas.

The 10 Best Hotels With Spas in Houston

Seeing as though I’ve gained quite a lot of familiarity with many of these spa hotels in Houston, I thought I should share my top picks so that the next time you’re looking for that perfect, relaxing break, you’ll know the locations in Houston to head to.

I’ve considered everything here, not just the spas. I’ve also looked at other luxuries you can indulge in during your stay, such as fitness centers, jacuzzis, and rooftop pools.

If this is going to be your first trip to Houston, I’ve also included some must-do activities close to each hotel, such as water parks, museums, and some fantastic restaurants if you’re a big foodie like me who loves to dine out most nights during a vacation.

Lastly, I’ve done some up-to-date research on the most recent prices. However, this is only an estimate and, of course, will vary depending on your specific time and room choice.

So, now we’ve got the overview covered, let’s find out more about the best hotels with a spa in Houston, Texas.

As it’s located right in the heart of all things historical and educational, perfect if this is your first time visiting Houston and you want to know more about the exciting history of the city. I would also highly recommend checking out the Cockrell Butterfly Center if you’re a nature lover; it’s just a 4-minute walk from the hotel.

If you’re traveling for business, you’ll also find yourself in an ideal location for the Downtown Central Business District. The hotel itself offers plenty of facilities for holding conferences, as well as cozy workspaces within the rooms.

Coming to the spa, you can stay at this fabulous hotel without getting a massage and facial. I recommend a deep tissue massage and a relaxing lounge by the pool.

There is a beautiful on-site restaurant, which you should visit at least one evening during your stay. I highly recommend the pancakes for breakfast.

Overall, one thing you can count on at this beautiful hotel is a memorable, classy experience.

The Laura Hotel is probably one of Houston’s most sought-after resorts to stay in when visiting Texas. It has been named one of the finest hotels in the area, and from the minute you set foot inside the lobby, you’ll see why that is.

When you enter the lobby, you’re greeted with an art deco design, modern furnishing, and a marble front desk. The splendor continues further into the building you get.

Suppose this is your first time visiting the fabulous city of Houston. In that case, La Quinta Willowbrook might be a perfect choice, especially if you’re a big foodie. There are around 60-70 excellent restaurants, all less than a mile from the hotel.

One of the things that stands out the most to me about this hotel is their level of cleanliness and high standard of housekeeping. From the lobby to the bedrooms, everything is spotless, to the point where it all feels brand new.

The hotel is pet-friendly, especially if you want to treat your four-legged friend to a lavish stay in the city. However, I don’t think the staff would appreciate you taking them into the spa for a manicure.

I’ve talked about a lot of hotels in Central and Downtown Houston, so now, coming to something for those of you wanting to stay in the Uptown Houston region, we have the Omni Houston Hotel offering all the comforts of home in a luxurious setting.

I’ve never stayed at this hotel with kids, but I have a friend who recently did so, and I was told the treatment they got was terrific for an upper-class hotel. The children received a bag filled with games, and the room was stocked with child-friendly video games, which they weren’t even aware of, and not only that, but the kids stayed for free.
