It can be tricky to find a place to stay with more than one bedroom so everyone can have their own private space, especially if you’ve got older kids. I’m the parent of a teenager now, who certainly doesn’t want to be sharing a room with us, so I understand completely.
So, whenever I’ve got the entire family with us, the first thing I look for when scouting hotels is whether or not they have two-bedroom suites so that we don’t have to pay for two separate rooms while still enjoying our own space.
Luckily, Texas has a lot to offer when it comes to Houston hotels with two-bedroom suites, and to be honest, I struggled to narrow it down to my top 10.
Best Hotels With 2-Bedroom Suites in Houston – My Top 10 Picks
Because there were so many to choose from, and because I’ve stayed in my fair share of them, I thought it best to keep my recommendations varied and try to include various locations, some that are situated ideally for sightseeing and others which are surrounded by bars and restaurants. I have included some just outside the city center and closer to the airport and other public transport options.
I have looked at what each property offers regarding facilities, dining, and added extras, such as hotels with a spa, hotels with balconies, and even one or two with private jacuzzis.
Lastly, you’ll see a section where I have mentioned a price per night. However, I just want to clear up before you go ahead. This price is only to be taken as a guideline. The cost of your room might fluctuate for many reasons, such as the time of year you visit, the room you choose, and the number of people staying in your suite.
So, let’s take a look.
1. Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Westchase
Address | 2424 Rogerdale Road, Houston, TX 77042 |
Website | www.hilton.com |
Tel | 713-334-2424 |
Price Per Night | $118.00 |
Situated super conveniently in the Business District of Westchase, the Homewood Suites by the Hilton is the perfect place to rest while visiting Houston for work. However, it’s a pretty popular spot for families, too, because of its proximity to other Houston attractions, such as The Galleria, the largest shopping mall in Houston, and is a fabulous day out for all. You can even try your hand at ice skating while you’re there.
The suites here are perfect and extremely spacious, with enough room for everyone to have their own private space; they even have full-sized kitchens with large refrigerators, electric ovens, microwaves, and a dishwasher. So, if you’re looking for somewhere for a long-term stay where you’ll be wanting to spend a lot of time catering for yourself, you’re full-equipped to do so.
The outside of this building is appealing, it looks refreshing, new, and welcoming, and the suites inside feel homely. Everything is well-maintained, and the decor is kept simple, crisp, and clean.
Ensure you take advantage of the complimentary buffet breakfast, which is served to guests daily. Considering the low price of the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and quantity of everything they had on offer regarding choices. I’m a lover of a cooked breakfast, but I did try plenty of other options here as they looked so tempting, such as the oatmeal and muffins.
If you’re traveling by car, there is ample parking on site too.

2. Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston West-Energy Corridor
Address | 14450 Park Row Drive, Houston, TX 77084 |
Website | www.hilton.com |
Tel | 855-605-0320 |
Price Per Night | $92.00 |
There are times when you want to save a little money on your accommodation so that you can spend more on souvenirs, activities, and sightseeing when on vacation, so if that’s the case right now, Homewood Suites by Hilton at West-Energy Corridor might be just what you’ve been searching for.
I’ve used this hotel on numerous occasions. However, I haven’t ever required one of the 2-bedroom suites as it’s usually been when I’ve been in Houston for work alone. However, I know they have some great rooms available with two bedrooms. If the quality of the rooms I’ve stayed in is anything to go by, you’ll be more than happy.
For a budget hotel, this place has a lot to offer, including a fully cooked breakfast, an on-site restaurant where you can get a complimentary meal and drink included in your room price, and even a 24-hour convenience store where you can stock up on snacks after hours, (maybe it’s just me that does that, I don’t know).
There is also an on-site gym which is only tiny, but I’ve always found plenty for what I’ve needed when I want to fit in a quick workout. There are running machines, weights, exercise balls, and yoga mats, which is all I need, maybe not quite enough if you’re looking for body-building facilities, though.

3. Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Clear Lake NASA
Address | 401 Bay Avenue, Houston, TX 77058 |
Website | www.hilton.com |
Tel | 855-6050302 |
Price Per Night | $118.00 |
Clear Lake is somewhere I always return to, no matter how many times I’ve visited. There isn’t a vast choice of places in Houston where you can be by the open water, which is why I just love spending time here; it’s as though you’ve been transported to a whole other place. You almost forget that you’re still in the city.
Homewood Suites at Clear Lake is a great spot to take advantage of the nearby attractions. However, one downside I found with the hotel is that there aren’t any views of the gorgeous docking bays. I’ve stayed here twice, once where I had a view of the hotel pool, which was acceptable, but another time where I was facing the flat roof of another building, not the best if I’m honest.
However, what they lack in room views, they make up for in many other areas. For instance, The staff at the hotel are welcoming and can’t do enough for you, and they serve a cracking breakfast.
I can’t rate the fitness center highly; unfortunately, it lacked equipment and only consisted of one faulty running machine. I skipped my regular workouts while here and opted for a morning walk, which was still satisfying due to the lovely area.

The Staybridge Suites is a newly built hotel near the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. As it’s pretty new, it’s facilitated with all the mod-cons you could wish for, such as soundproof rooms, air purifiers, coffee makers, brand-new kitchen equipment, and extremely comfortable beds.
If you’re flying into Houston, you’ll have nothing to worry about getting to your destination as the hotel offers a free airport shuttle to and from the airport.
There is plenty to do at the hotel and in the surrounding areas, and there is a social hour at the hotel every night where you can enjoy complimentary food and drink.
The gym here is probably one of the best I’ve come across in a hotel. Everything is high-tech and brand-new. There are many machines, including bikes and running machines, ten sets of dumbbells of various weights, a cable machine, a weight bench, and a few other bits.
Another selling point for this hotel is that it is very family-friendly, and kids stay free, automatically giving you massive savings on your vacation.

Address | 6800 Main Street, Houston, TX 77030 |
Website | www.hilton.com |
Tel | 855-605-0318 |
Price Per Night | $150.00 |
I have only stayed at this hotel once. It was only for a night while I visited a family member receiving treatment at the nearby Medical Center. This was the sole reason I booked this hotel, because of the convenient proximity.
Although I didn’t get much time to experience all the amenities and see everything they had to offer, given the fact that reviewing hotels is my sideline, I was able to pick up on the necessities. I had a bit of a nose around the pool area, which looked lovely, with plenty of seating. It seemed like a nice quiet place to relax.
There was a gym on-site, but I didn’t get the chance to take a look on this occasion.
Overall, this hotel would benefit from a bit of lick of paint and general maintenance here and there. Still, the general vibe is excellent, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff is extremely pleasant.

Homewood Suites near The Galleria Shopping Mall has an array of suites available, many of which have two interconnecting bedrooms.
Okay, so I will admit, this hotel is a bit outdated and could use a touch-up in places, the furniture in the bedrooms is a little run down, and the decor is slightly dingey. However, it has a welcoming feel, the staff is great, and the rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds.
The proximity to the mall and some excellent restaurants are the most significant selling point of this hotel, there are tons to do nearby, and it’s the ideal location for food lovers and shopaholics.
The hotel does have private parking, which has easy access to the main lobby, and there are also multiple public transport options close by.

Whether you’re looking for a two-bedroom suite for a short weekend break or an extended vacation with the entire family, these beautiful suites will suit all your requirements.
It’s quite an old property; even so, it’s very well-maintained and clean and offers many amenities, such as an on-site gym, a breakfast bar with a great selection, and a cooked breakfast option.
They don’t have an on-site restaurant for dining. Still, honestly, I don’t blame them because there are hundreds of restaurant options in the area, so you’re never short of finding somewhere to enjoy lunch or an evening meal.
Other nearby attractions include the NASA Johnson Space Center and, of course, Clear Lake itself, which provides all kinds of water activities such as kayaking and fishing trips.

8. Homewood Suites by Hilton Houston-Willowbrook Mall

Website | www.hilton.com |
Tel | 855-605-0320 |
Price Per Night | $110.00 |
Situated in Northwest Houston, these Homewood Suites are perfectly located near the popular Willowbrook Mall; it’s also an excellent spot for dining out, as there are around 20 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.
The rooms are immaculate, and the housekeeping is kept on top daily. The hotel could do with a little work, but nothing that would put you off wanting to stay again.
I thought the staff here were excellent, they would bend over backward to make your stay perfect, and nothing seemed too much for them. Everyone I’ve come across here has been polite.
I was in a King suite when I stayed here, and there was more than enough room. It was air-conditioned and had plenty of kitchen equipment which was ideal for me as I needed to self-cater most evenings. There were plenty of little extras dotted around the rooms, making it feel like a more personal experience.

At just $60.00 per night, there isn’t much I can complain about with these Comfort Suites at the airport. Okay, don’t get me wrong, they are purpose-built suites focused more on convenience for commuters than anything else. Nonetheless, this doesn’t mean they hold back on customer service and provisions.
Despite being a budget place to rest your head, and the rooms and facilities all being pretty basic, they do still have extras such as an outdoor swimming pool, airport shuttle, fitness center with a good selection of equipment, and a casual dining hall where you can have your fill of plenty of refreshments and a complimentary breakfast.
Levy Park and Lucky Land aren’t too far from the suites if you want somewhere to take the kids for a fun day out. There is a good selection of nearby restaurants, including Gumbo Jeaux’s, where you can get outstanding food.
If you’re looking for simplicity and excellent value, I can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the perfect place to stay if you plan on spending most of your time exploring and simply want somewhere comfortable to return to at the end of the day for a peaceful, restful night’s rest.

10. TownPlace Suites by Marriott Houston Galleria Area
Address | 5315 S Rice Avenue, Houston, TX 77081 |
Website | www.marriott.com |
Tel | 844-631-0595 |
Price Per Night | $120.00 |
TownPlace Suites at the Galleria are still mostly what I would personally describe as motel suites rather than a hotel or fancy apartments. However, their simplicity certainly isn’t a negative point, don’t get me wrong.
These quaint, comfortable little apartments feel like a home-from-home when you arrive. The rooms are well thought out and designed to use the space for optimum capacity. There is ample storage space, a well-laid-out kitchenette with everything you need, and a cozy workspace with a little desk lamp.
The motel has excellent access to the riverwalk, where you can go down the steps and walk right alongside the river. It’s a stunning walk, and I highly recommend it. There is also a cute little restaurant at the water level to enjoy lunch by the water.
If you want to leave the car behind or have flown into Houston, ask the staff about renting the electric bikes, you can take them anywhere you like. It’s a great way of exploring the surrounding areas.
