9 Best Hotels With Airport Shuttle in Houston, TX

One of my biggest stresses when traveling or visiting new places is worrying about how I will get from the airport to my abode. This is especially the case if you’ve flown long haul, had a nightmare journey, or are coming in late at night. The thought of hanging around with piles of luggage, trying to hail a taxi in an unknown location, can be daunting.

So, more often than not, when I am looking for hotels to stay in, I try to find ones that offer an A to B service that will see me collected from the airport and dropped right outside my hotel door. This brought me to my guide today, which are the best hotels with an airport shuttle in Houston, TX?

9 Houston Hotels With Airport Shuttle – My Top Picks

So, to answer this question, I have been knuckling down, researching what other visitors have to say, and combining this with my personal experiences of each hotel.

I’ve selected some of my favorite hotels. Some that I haven’t yet stayed at but have heard only great things about, some of which have been personally recommended by friends.

As a regular visitor to Houston, I have also given you a bit of an insight as to the area in which some of the hotels are. For instance, whether or not they’re close to some of Houston’s most popular attractions or whether they have a great choice of nearby restaurants.

You will also notice that I have noted the price per night. However, as always, remember that this price can vary a fair bit depending on the room you choose, the duration of your stay, and the time of year you select for your vacation.

Lastly, whether or not you’re traveling for pleasure or work, I have included some more corporate hotels, which have excellent business facilities and workspace, and some more family-friendly ones with exciting activities and kids-go-free options. So, hopefully, I have offered something to everyone.

So, let’s head out and see the best hotels in Houston with a shuttle service.

If you love convenience, home comforts, and an easy check-in and check-out transaction, then the Courtyard by Marriott will be your ideal location.

There are some fabulous attractions close to this hotel, so I highly recommend this spot if you’re in Houston for adventures, family-fun, and sightseeing. Some of the ones I would strongly advise visiting would be Deerbrook Mall and Wet ‘N’ Wild SplashTown; make sure you take a day trip to Downtown Houston if you get the chance.

The hotel boasts a state-of-the-art fitness center if you don’t like to miss a workout on vacation. It also has plenty of other leisure facilities, such as a hot tub, tennis court, and activities for the kids. Kids also stay for free, which makes you a significant saving on your family holiday.

Regarding the shuttle service, this is available to visitors staying at the hotel, and it can be arranged to collect you from the airport. However, some reported this to be a bit hit-and-miss. I’ve never had an issue, but I recommend keeping in touch with the hotel to confirm your pick-up going on what others have reported, especially during peak times.

La Quinta is the second lowest-priced hotel I have included in this guide but don’t be fooled by the budget boarding. This place has a lot to offer for the cost.

This pet-friendly, two-star hotel might not be everyone’s first choice, especially if you expect luxurious marble bathrooms and a classy concierge. However, you’d be surprised at the number of amenities they have available.

Starting with the leisure facilities, they have a private pool, BBQ facilities, and a gym with plenty of decent equipment to meet most people’s fitness needs.

The shuttle service runs as it should; the drivers are all extremely friendly and assist you with everything you need.

One downside to this place, though it’s minor, is that it now looks a little outdated and could do with a lick of paint here and there. However, it’s not enough to knock them down any points; this is still a great hotel in an ideal location.

The cheapest hotel I will tell you about today is the Airway Inn on Greens Road. This again offers a substantial and perfectly adequate stay for an absolute bargain price.

At a hotel for this price, I bet you wouldn’t imagine being greeted with amenities such as free airport transportation, a 24-hour front desk, free parking, a flat-screen TV, and air conditioning; well, you’d be surprised.

I have only ever stayed at this hotel when I was passing through Houston for work on a one-night stay, so I can’t comment on what it’s like for the long haul; however, what I have experienced is nothing short of just right.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, the shuttle service is prompt and reliable, and the rooms and grounds are all well-maintained and clean. What more can you ask for this price?

This is a pet-friendly hotel, so if you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy your trip with your four-legged friend, they’ll be more than welcome in one of their fully-equipped rooms, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and stove.

The handy shuttle service will ensure you make any flights well before you due to fly, taking the stress out of trying to call a cab.

There are plenty of options available for breakfast too, and everything is fresh and well-cooked, a pleasant surprise for Staybridge Suite, as I have had my fair share of questionable breakfasts at some other locations.

SpringHill Suites by The Marriott at Intercontinental Airport is the perfect location if you’re coming in from a long-haul flight or have an early one to catch the next day, as it’s located right by the airport, so close that you can see the runway from the hotel. Don’t let this put you off, though, as it’s nothing but a selling point, offering great views, and the rooms are all soundproof, so you can forget worrying about the sounds of the planes through the night.

The hotel is fantastic, well-priced, and full of amenities, and the staff is tremendously helpful and welcoming.

The shuttle runs every half an hour, and from what I have experienced, it is always without delays.

There is plenty to indulge in, such as a swimming pool, cable and satellite TV, and a sun terrace. However, it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t the best location if you want to be anywhere near Houston’s top attractions, as there isn’t much in the area. However, if you want to venture out for dinner, the hotel’s shuttle service will get you to any of those in good time and pick you up again after your meal.
